Lust: Summer Berry Jam & Cream Sponge

Like the first kiss of summer, you’ll quickly give in to your choice of a moist, three-layered vanilla or chocolate sponge cake, filled with housemade summer berry jam, freshly whipped vanilla cream, encased in pan toasted flaked almonds, finished with arrangement of fresh seasonal berries.

Desire: El Azteca

Channeling the Aztec’s love of chocolate, coffee and gold, this decadent three-layered chocolate sponge cake is filled with Kahlua flavoured chocolate marquise, then cloaked in a sheer coating of glossy chocolate ganache, to be encased by gilded gold chocolate shards and finally crowned with chocolate curls (or chocolate coated coffee beans on request).

Envy: Le Croquembouche

Seductively light and fluffy housemade profiteroles are gently gorged with luscious orange-scented crème patissiere. Each fattened pastry ball is coated in hand-spun maiden hair toffee, erected one by one into an inspiring golden tower. Finished with either pearl sugar, candied flowers or fresh berries with more hand-spun toffee takes this from Oh! Monsieur to Ooh La La Madamme!

Passion: Il Cassata

This traditional Sicilian cake will inspire you with two layers of vanilla bean sponge holding a rich layer of fresh ricotta, rich dark chocolate, pistachio and housemade candied citrus – accented with a splosh of authentic Disaronno Amaretto. Encased in a subtle pale green fondant featuring a crushed pistachio ribbon around its base, Il Cassata is topped with more of our housemade candied citrus for good measure.

Temptation: Tiramisu

Translated as “pick me up”, this classic layered cake of housemade vanilla bean sponge soldiers drunk on a mixture of espresso and marsala are layered between lashings of whipped marcscapone cream. Encircled by a regiment of sobered almond savoiradi and held tightly by a thick chocolate ribbon – this enduring cake is very hard to resist for a reason.

Pride: Salted Caramel Hazelnut Japonais

This cake will bring you to your knees with four layers of crisp hazelnut meringue japonais that are gently bedded between sheets of golden salted caramel. Finished in a glossy layer of satin rich chocolate ganache and a casing of chopped roasted hazelnuts, it is finally crowned with hazelnut tuille. Even the mighty will fall on their sword for this beguiling Japonais.
